X-Porn Star Xposes Sex Industry Secrets at Sugar Club
AN INTERVIEW on March 18th in Dublin’s Sugar Club will explore the
grim realities of what women experience in the pornography industry.
According to 39 year old former porn star April Garris ‘Sex-packed
porn films featuring freshly-dyed blondes whose evocative eyes say “I
want you” is possibly one of the greatest deceptions of all time’.
April, who will be flying from California to give the interview,
starred in twenty films during her career before leaving the
pornography industry in 2001.
On March 23rd Church leaders are being offered a seminar about unemployment and its effects on individuals and
communities, and who wish to respond, through action, to the needs of
people inside and outside the church who are long-term or newly
unemployed.
The different sessions are designed to inform, motivate and equip you
so that you can personally engage effectively with unemployed people
and/or mobilise others to do so.
the seminar is taking place at the Dublin Central Mission, 9c Lower Abbey St., Dublin 1. The Cost is: €10.
Next May in Belfast the Stand Out International Charity will be hosting a night of worship with Hillsong United from Hillsong Church in Sydney Australia at the Metropolitan Tabernacle.. This is going to be a fantastic event and it is the first time that Hillsong will have visited Ireland. Bluetree (writers of “God of this City”) who lead worship at our church will also be playing on the night.
The Organisers are also looking at hosting a seminar for worship teams in the afternoon of the event where there will be the opportunity to meet the Hillsong band and learn from them and ask questions. Numbers will be limited for this seminar, so the organisers are looking to churches letting them about interest for such a seminar.The event website is http://hillsongbelfast.eventbrite.com . All proceeds from the night will go to Stand Out International, a Belfast based christian charity founded by Bluetree that is fighting to end child sex exploitation and trafficking.
